What’s up guys got some cool news in luxury men’s fashion for you to check out. Luxury fashion house Balenciaga makes its way back into headlines with the introduction of their latest fall/winter 2016 menswear collection. “This utilitarian-inspired menswear range was put together even before Demna Gvasalia’s appointment, in a similar manner to the seasonal women’s collection.” Balenciaga is obviously no stranger to the runway, but the label has never held its own menswear show — it has always presented its men’s collections by appointment only. That’s all about to change, however, as the French atelier has announced the first-ever menswear show in its 99-year history. “The show will debut the masculine vision of Balenciaga’s new artistic director Demna Gvasalia,” said the label in a statement. As far as the collection however, despite being dominated by a series of earth tones, the impressive combination of dramatic cuts and intricate details render the luxury garments more dynamic than the muted tones may suggest at first glance. Overall, the balanced display of contemporary silhouettes and more traditional menswear staples suggest Balenciaga’s future looks very bright with this menswear collection. Demna Gvasalia will debut Balenciaga’s first menswear runway collection in Paris on June 22. – EffYeahMark
