New York Fashion Week: Men’s is off to a glitzy start, thanks to its Monday night opening party, and also the unveiling of a new venue. The Council of Fashion Designers (CFDA) and Cadillac held the soiree at the auto company’s recently opened 12,000-square-foot Cadillac House on the ground floor of its Manhattan headquarters, which will also serve as a runway and presentation space for various shows this week, such as Timo Weiland, Gypsy Sport and Thaddeus O’Neil. New York Fashion Week kicked off Monday without a glitch from embroidered shirts to top-shelf tailoring. Common performed at the CFDA x Cadillac opening night party during NYFW: Men’s Spring/Summer 2017 at Cadillac House. Everyone from Michael Kors to Tommy Hilfiger is set to present this week with the latest in men’s fashion. Even though most of the fashion will be going on underneath the many tents and venues throughout the week, lets not forget about the killer fashion and trends happening out on the mean streets of New York. It’s hot in NYC. But that didn’t stop industry insiders from dressing their best, here’s what everyone wore to kick off the latest round of New York Fashion Week: Men’s.
