White is busy working on several projects as an actor an also producer. He is one of the main characters of the buzzworthy film, Media. The film debuts on TV One in early 2017.

“It is rare as an actor you get to play a character with so much grey. The character is usually black or white. This has been a dream role,” White said.

In the past, White has played a villain, ladies’ man, college student, and firefighter. His portrayals of those characters have been memorable and help solidify his place in Tinsel town; thus making way for him to play more complex and multi-dimensional characters.

White plays Michael Jones a successful city attorney and prosecutor who tables his aspirations to become a politician to help with his family’s business after a tragedy occurs. He is one of four children in a ruthless family. White describes his character as the “white sheep” of the family whose morals will be tested as he aids his family save their company and legacy.

The movie has more riding on it than just great ratings during its debut weekend. The movie is rumored as a backdoor pilot to a potential series. The film also includes notable actors Pooch Hall (The Game and Ray Donovan), Denise Boutte (Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married and Meet The Browns), Gary Dourdan, and Penny Johnson Jones.

That is not all White is working on, he has several more projects in the works including: No Regrets (opposite actress Monica Calhoun, Sharon Leal, and Loretta Devine), Netflix film ‘Amateur’, and The List (Columbus Short, Claudia Jordan).

Making a mark in Hollywood is not the only goal on Brian’s agenda, he also is helping young people. He gives advice and valuable knowledge to help them achieve their goals.

“I give them my real email and information. I respond to their post. They want help and advice, not to get smoke and mirrors. I am an open book,” said White.

Giving back is imperative to White and helping others along the way is part of his purpose.

“My father taught me it’s about giving back,” said White.

White is a philanthropist who has worked with many organizations, a hard working actor, but his most important role for him is a family man. He is a devoted father and husband.
