Shades of Fashion: Color-blocking

When you think of  color blocking, vibrant colors, spring showers and summer flowers come to mind. With summer ending, vibrant colors tend to be tucked away in storage and the autumn, natural and dark color tones come out to play. But, who said that fashion rules can’t be broken just a little.

Some of our favorite color blocking looks for Spring/Summer 2017 can cross over to our Fall/Winter 2017-2018 choices for color blocking. And, for those non-fashion experts or stylish individuals color blocking can be interpreted for mix matching. But, these trends are two different things.  Color blocking can be exciting interesting and can turn a simple ensemble to something colorfully powerful. While, mix matching on the other hand can be exciting ad stylish, but can end in a fashion NO! Regardless of anyone preference, KontrolFashion has provided a glimpse of the perfect color blocking for this up incoming fall.

Some of our favorite celebrities have graced the streets in some color blocking. Our two favorite fashionistas Victoria Beckham and Solange both gave us all the street style feels. Do we love it?

Designers such as Missoni, Vetements, Proenza Schouler and Off-white were Kontrol’s go-to for color blocking Class 101. And, we hope to see these designers and more grace fashion week in New York with new trends and old ones. There’s nothing like a revamp of a fashion trend we can love all year round. What are your thoughts on color blocking is it a do for fall or don’t?
