The entertainment industry is famous on putting a new spin on an old idea. Just think about how many remade movies, poorly done sequels an blatant knockout television series and movies we’ve seen over the years. You see where I’m going with this fam?

They say that ‘imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’, however, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is not trying to hear that  – the 39 year old rapper, actor and mogul is pissed that the FOX series “Empire” is trying to knock off his Starz series “Power”.

Empire is an upcoming music-related drama TV series about a music empire. The hip-hop family drama project from Lee Daniels and Danny Strong stars Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard and Gabourney Sidibe.

Meanwhile, Power is an American drama TV series on Starz created by Courtney Kemp Agboh and produced by 50 Cent, starring Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton and Joseph Sikora.

While 50 has taken to Instagram to air his grievances about the new series, he has said that his issues are not with Empire’s lead actors, Henson or Howard but moreso with the show’s marketing team. He alleges that they copied the marketing strategy of Power. Watch the video clips below and YOU decide if his anger holds any validity.

Beyond the words, lies a young woman… A young woman filled with drive, determination, pride, passion, and an insatiable hunger for more. A young woman who is a self-proclaimed artist, but not in the sense that she can paint a mural. She’s a verbal artist who paints pictures with words. Her beauty is more than skin deep, it lies within the lines of her words. And she’s making a name for herself as your new favorite writer.
