Dwayne Johnson Debuts His Under Armour Collection

Under Amour and Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock) have finally released the action star’s signature shoe and apparel collection. Back in August, Dwayne teased the world by showing off a pair of sneakers on Instagram. Recently, he was back on “The Gram” to let everyone know that his collection was officially out.

The collection is officially referred as UA x Project Rock. Besides the signature sneaker, the collection includes, t-shirts and tank tops emblazoned with a “Brahma Bull” or the phrase “Blood, Sweat, Respect”. There are also shorts, hats, duffle bags, and more. There is apparel for men and women.

If there’s anyone who should be teaming up with Under Armour, it’s Dwayne. Not only is a former professional athlete, he’s also an action star. He comes from a long line of professional wrestlers and played football for the University of Miami. Dwayne was a professional wrestler with the WWE under the stage name “The Rock” from 1996 to 2004. He later went on to become an actor starring in films like The Mummy Returns, Walking Tall, The Game Plan, and three installments of The Fast & the Furious Franchise.

If his resume doesn’t impress you than his physique sure will. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Terry Crews, Dwayne’s huge muscles sometimes overshadows his other talents, but they’re also one an important factor in his fame. Throughout his acting career, he has not only tackled major action roles but has also appeared in quite a few comedy films as well. Dwayne’s has definitely proved himself to be more that a handsome face and with massive arms.

After releasing details about the partnership in January, Dwayne appeared on WWE’s Monday Night Raw wearing an Under Armour tank top featuring his trademark “Brahma Bull” logo.

It’s possible that Dwayne will also be releasing his own “capsule” collections inspired by some of the films that he has starred in. For example, he recently appeared in the upcoming Baywatch remake. A line of branded rash guards will debut along with the film.

The UA x Project Rock signature sneaker is currently sold out, but it retails for $140.
