IMPACT Magazine Celebrates 10 Years!

 IMPACT Magazine held a private dinner to celebrate 10 years in business honoring Women of IMPACT.

IMPACT Magazine 10 Year Anniversary Women Of IMPACT Honorary Dinner Featuring  Karen Civil. The star-studded event took place on Sunday, January 15th at Level V in Buckhead Atlanta. IMPACT Magazine’s slogan is “Empower, Encourage, & Educate”. For their 10-year anniversary, IMPACT held a private dinner honoring women in business who are amongst the top in their industry, making waves and aspiring women that follow them. For it’s “Winter 17” issue, media maven Karen Civil graces the cover.

The event began with a red carpet walk through, then interviews in the media suite with a dinner following. I had the pleasure of interviewing a few of the honorees; here are some excerpts:

K.C :”Started with an internship with Funk Master Flex with Hot 97″

Deja: What would you say to cultivate a circle of other female bosses?

K.C: “I  just love a well-rounded group of individuals, I just have a network of great woman, it’s just about empowering one another so it’s good, we’re all on different levels doing different things, even if we’re in the same lane, we’re in different lanes, so it’s just an incredible feeling, you just always want to have a great network of women around you”.
