This year a wave of new faces took over both the fashion  industry  and social media entrepreneurship alike .Stunning new faces and bold talent made its way to becoming industry power houses. 

Slick Woods- Next generation forefront model is Slick Woods. Woods is managed by The Lions Agency based in both New York, New York and Los Angeles, California. Her short cut, full lips and gap make her look her own. Slick Woods was in high demand fashion week. Walking and opening for brands and fashion houses such as Fenty x Puma, Jeremy Scott, Marc Jacobs and Helmut Lang. Woods has also been featured in highly revered editorials with Vogue and W Magazine. Briana Wilson – a social media maven, and apart of a generation that has used social media to create revenue , Briana  has launched a successful career based on her Matte clothing line. Briana is the face of new wave entrepreneurs, noticeably, young black women who use their large social media following as free advertising and support. When Matte launched it was an automatic sell out and gained support for other IT girls such as Karrueche, Draya, and Kim Kardashian. Wilson has recently launched her second brand, working girl. Kyle Kellogg is a New York based model managed by Muse NYC. Kyle has been the face of companies such as Coca Cola, Maybelline and Sephora. FUCCI- Farren Fucci has had quite a year for himself. Having his start on social media he built his brand and following from fashion mood boards he would create and post on Twitter. These look books grew his following and eventually landed in the hands of Rihanna. Fucci began styling Rihanna and other hot IT girls such as Bella Hadid. Geron McKinley – Geron is a model you’ve more than likely seen on the rise for a couple of years, he is represented by multiple agencies his two biggest being CLICK and Elite . This year Geron made his mark within the industry walking for power house labels such as Philip Plein, Kith, and Hermes. McKinley is currently apart of two major campaigns with Old Navy, Puma, and Forever 21 all nationwide. Geron has recently put philanthropist under his belt as well. Precious Lee – Precious is currently signed with IMG modeling agency. Within a month Lee became a part of Lane Bryant’s #ImNoangel campaign. Precious being the face of such a huge campaign put her in the spotlight and propelled her into more work. In 2016, Lee teamed with Lane Bryant again. Sports Illustrated and Lane Bryant collaborated for their campaign “This Body”. Selah Marley- What is it like to come from an iconic hip hop and reggae lineage and still make a name for your own? Mega babe Selah Marley knows.
