So many young adults have ventured into the world of online dating. Because of the stigma that precedes this action, many of these people involved with online dating feel a bit of shame with it. They explain it as other’s seeing them as desperate. Who’s to say that the person on the other end of the screen is not perfect for you? With the changing times, people are more frequently venturing away from the old and accepted and jumping on the fresh and new bandwagon.
Online dating can prove to be quite promising. Sometimes work, fear of rejection and inopportune moments prevent amazing people from meeting other amazing people. Why not log onto a site, make an appealing, but true profile, and allow nature to take its course. With online dating, you miss the chance of being rejected at the bar, being judged solely off looks, or having to deal with the awkward conversation that may lead to no commonalities. At least with online dating you are given a pre requisite of a person’s likes and dislikes, hobbies, and interest. So if you find interest in what that person has to offer AND you are attracted them by their profile picture, why not take a chance on the potential.
