Having high energy is a must whether you’re dominating the office or the runway.
Don’t be tempted to get your energy boost from energy drinks or from bottled juice packed with sugar. Most people grab an energy drink, coffee, or bottled juice for an easy increase in energy.
Majority of the bottled juice found in your local grocery store have a lot of sugar. Bottled juices are heavily sweetened but not as much as the average energy drink. Energy drinks are loaded with sugar and can cause migraines. It would be a better idea to go green. Green tea and green juice are natural energizers. Green leafy vegetables like kale and spinach will keep you fueled throughout your busy day. You can have kale chips, kale and spinach salads and you can add both to your green smoothies. How many times have you skipped breakfast because you didn’t have time? Have green smoothies instead of skipping meals. If you don’t have the time to make a smoothie try a green superfood powder or low sugar bottled juice. Green tea also supports energy and won’t leave you jittery like having too many cups of coffee. Green tea increases energy and weight loss minus the caffeine overload.
If you’re looking for a snack raw nuts are the way to go. Almonds, pistachios, and walnuts will keep you going and satisfied. Almonds are high energy foods but are high in fat. Nuts are easy to overeat so be careful to portion control. It’s easy to grab candy or a pastry for a quick fix when you’re feeling a little blah. Prepare yourself with snacks like dried fruit that are easy to store and that supply a large amount of energy.
Don’t forget to drink water and take your multivitamins. Taking multivitamins daily will help you conquer your hectic day!
