What’s Galentine’s Day, and Who Else Is Celebrating It?

If we didn’t already have enough holidays’ to celebrate, the calendar just got a little more interesting. One question everyone’s asking this year ism What’s Galentine’s Day and Who Else Is Celebrating It?

Galentine’s Day is a holiday Amy Poehler’s created for the ladies,  and thanks to her now  we now have an excuse to run the world with our girls. That’s right ladies, here’s your opportunity to pamper yourself and those special women in your life that you call your good, good, girlfriends.

While, most women are preparing for the most romantic day of the year, others are prepping for that evening where they can hurry and leave work to catch a spa day with their bestie, right after a quick cup of Joe at their favorite little coffee shop.   Simply put, instead of spending the day with your husband, preparing for love, you can spend the day with your girls celebrating true friendship.

Getting a “just because gift” for your girl can be just what life has in store for you all. Starting a new year can be rough, so it’s important to take care of the people that we love is imperative.  Leaving the guys in the house for a night won’t have much of an impact on your Valentine’s Day festivities, and you support your girls by coming through with last minute advice and laughter before things get too serious.  It’s not like you always have time to skip out on a planned engagement to talk work gossip, new love, and family problems.

We all require those priceless moments where you’re dressed in your favorite sequences dress, holding a few colorful balloons, and using Uber to skip the hottest spots in the city.  Remembering what life was like before all of the responsibility and pressures of life could be just what you need.   I couldn’t think of a better way to start off Valentine’s Day than being the city with my ladies laughing, and talking about our plans for life and love.
