Be Bold Be Beautiful

Beauty nowadays is bold. It stands out and doesn’t hold back. Beauty is no longer that soft and understand conception. Women want everything bold and out there! Contours, eyebrows, and most of all lips.

It’s pretty safe to say that the era of skinny lips is completely over or the want or need to have skinny lips is over. Not saying that there is anything  wrong with skinny lips it is just no longer trending. Women want lips that stick out above all the rest these days. There is all kind of contouring, feathering, and lip plumping techniques that make up artists and others use to give the illusion that a person has fuller lips.

Kylie Jenner is a person that claims to use these techniques all the time and shies away from talk of plastic surgery and Botox injections like the old fashioned celebrities used. This is a new age and thus new techniques and technologies have been created. So you may be wondering how do you achieve the bold lips that Kylie tries to do or the bold lips that in make up artist and or celebrity is trying to pull off.

How to master “the bold lip”:

Step 1 – Lightly outline your lips with your choice of concealer. Especially highlight the area around your “cupid’s bow”.

Step 2 – Blend your choice of concealer in towards your lips to prevent any harsh and or hard lines.

Step 3 – Use lip liner of whatever color that will match your lippie to draw lines on and around your lips to define them.

Step 4 – Apply your lippie or lipstick as  you would normally.

Step 5 – Blot your lips.

Step 6 – Reapply the lipstick. Adding this step in to your traditional lippie routine is crucial because it helps the color last way longer.

These steps will help you on your way to bigger, bolder lips!
