NYFW helps to introduce Brian Lichtenberg

Designer Brian Lichtenberg debuted his Spring / Summer 2014 collection for New York Fashion Week at Pier 59 Studios.
Guest included: Haily Baldwin, Nicky Hilton and Perez Hilton

Designer Brian Lichtenberg, who has recently gained global notoriety for his cheeky yet controversial t-shirt collections, showcased a 24-look collection that fused his upscale street sensibility and luxury accents. With a nod to a punk rock chic aesthetic and Parisian flair, the Spring / Summer 2014 collection incorporates wearable classics with sophisticated silhouettes embodied in a uni- sex vibe.
The collection, built around ones individuality, is constructed of neoprene, luxe leathers, silks, cotton as well as the launch of the denim line. In hues of sky blue, nude, pomegranate and black, Lichtenberg plays up the elements of chic and street that merge luxury and urban culture—indicative of his brand’s iconic element.
“This will be my first time showing in NY, so I really wanted to focus on my ‘ready to wear roots,’” said Lichtenberg. “My well known graphics will still have a presence, however this collection for me is to feature myself as a menswear / womenswear designer. I have always loved the cross collision of high with low, street with luxury, downtown with uptown and with this collection I was very inspired by those moments.”

The Spring / Summer 2014 collection also featured the launch of the BL handbag and footwear collection. Branded tennis shoes with the Homies logo stepped on to the scene from the street, along with luxurious python boots. Thigh high boots and strappy pumps with gold chains reflected the collection’s young and sexy downtown vibe.
